MLav Racing is a professional motorcycle racing organisation founded by former MotoGP and British Superbike rider Michael Laverty. As an SBS Partner in Racing, the team relies on SBS brake pads to deliver the precision, control, and stopping power needed to compete at the top level. From the high-speed challenges of the Isle of Man TT and the North West 200 to the intense battles of the British Superbike Championship, MLav Racing combines proven leadership, experienced riders, and advanced technology to achieve success.
Under the guidance of Laverty and co-owner David Eltherington, the team has grown from its origins in the British Talent Cup and European Talent Cup into a multi-discipline contender. Multiple TT winner Ian Hutchinson leads the roads programme, competing on BMW M 1000 RR machinery in the Superbike and Superstock classes, as well as on a Yamaha R6 in Supersport. In BSB, Richard Kerr represents MLav Racing in the Superbike class, while Ilya Mikhalchik races in National Superstock, where his consistent performances keep him at the sharp end of the championship.
