SBS CELEBRATES A YEAR OF RACING VICTORIES IN 2023

SVENDBORG, DENMARK – SBS Friction A/S, the preferred brake supplier for the powersports and racing sector at large, is celebrating a highly successful 2023 in Road Racing and Motocross, with more than 20 championship titles to its credit.
As the technical partner of choice, SBS has been active in international championships such as Moto 2, Moto 3, WSSP300, and WSSP600, where team world championships of Intact GP Husqvarna Liqui Moly, Ten Kate Racing, and MtM Kawasaki Racing, among others, claimed titles. During 2023, SBS was also the official brakes of the American Flat Track series, a partnership that dates back to 2018 and will continue into 2024.
Especially triumphs in North West 200, Isle of Man TT, and Macau Grand Prix are to remember for any race enthusiast, where SBS Partners in Racing took all podiums with champions Peter Hickman, Michael Dunlop, Dean Harrison, Davey Todd, and Alastair Seeley.
SBS was also active in Motocross GP where especially Courtney Duncan’s fourth World Cup triumph with Kawasaki Dixon Racing Team in MXW – Women’s World Championship Motocross - is to highlight.
Also on a national level, SBS was the preferred choice among even more champions. Highlighted championships are, BSB British Superbike, MA Moto America, MA Super Hooligan, CIV Italian SBK Championship, CEV Spanish Championship, French SBK Championship, ARRC Asian Road Racing Championship, MACAU Grand Prix, and not to forget, Mike Jensen’s triumph at the Stunt Masters Cup.
Full speed ahead in 2024
SBS will in 2024 continue its test of new backing plate technology that has shown great results in SPA 24H World Endurance Championship and 24H Bol d’Or, in British and IDM German Superbike Championships, and under extreme conditions in Asia, where Markus Reiterberger showed the winning performance on his BMW M1000RR on the brake tough Chang Circuit in Thailand.
Together with Partners in Racing, SBS aim to get even more champions in 2024 on international level, and together with local distributor network, also national champions in both road racing and motocross.
